This Shen is striking instrument with a seriously dramatic quilted maple back. On the thick side, its C string can really shake the room. This instrument will absolutely sing as it matures. The neck is on the thicker side and makes you feel truly grounded to the instrument. This is a wonderful cello, worthy of being a great advancing cello or a second instrument for a professional.
