This violin comes from the shop of Ernst Heinrich Roth in Markneukirchen, Germany. Labeled 1945, it was made within the lifetime of the Roth himself. Situated near the Czech border, the Roth shop has stood out for over a century for their quality and workmanship. The shop has stayed in control of the Roth family, currently run by Ernst Heinrich Roth III and his son Wilhelm Roth.
This violin is in wonderful condition, having recently been serviced and touched up by our luthier, Bill Schettler. The sound quality is superb, with a powerful and clear, full-bodied projection through its entire range.
