The Core Academy Violin Outfit A15E 1/2 is an excellent student level instrument.  It is crafted with European tonewoods: a spruce top, maple back and sides. The attractive dark-brown finish has a slight fade towards the edges, giving an eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing gradient. The fittings, which include the pegs and end button, and fingerboard are all ebony.  We have fitted this violin with a Wittner chinrest as well, which, along with the tulip style Wittner tailpiece (with four fine tuners attached), is made of a hypoallergenic polycarbonate material. It is set up with a French Aubert bridge and D’Addario Prelude Violin Strings.
