Bow Hold Buddy CelloPhant “instantly positions and supports the fingers of the bow hold!” The goal of the CelloPhant is to teach a perfect bow hold. It does this through muscle memory and training with consistent use. The elephant provides the player with physical reference points. With these reference points, they know where to place each finger. & voila! A uniform bow hold!
The size of the elephant guides the hand to an open and relaxed position. Finding the right spot for your thumb is especially tricky. With the CelloPhant, beginners can easily bend their thumb into the elephant’s trunk. This places the thumb right onto the correct location between the frog and stick.
A correct bow hold allows the player to easily apply tension to the strings, and not their hands. The added weight of the CelloPhant also provides extra tension on the strings. This tension creates a fuller sound! Beginners will feel proud of the sound they can easily produce with the CelloPhant!
