We are having our annual bow rehair workshop!
The dates will be July 27, August 3, and August 10! So that’s three Saturdays that you will have an opportunity to learn from the best bow rehair-er on the gulf coast! We’re getting booked fast, so hurry and claim your spot! Here are some facts you should know about the workshop:
- 9 total hours
- 3 hours per day, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Optional additional 1 hour for one-on-one with Paula!
- Dates: July 27, August 3, August 10
- $400 tuition
- Additional $300 for tools and supplies
- You get to keep those tools! (List of tools found below)
- We will provide a wooden Violin/viola bow, unless you have one you’d like to use
- Must be 21 or over
With this workshop, you will learn how to disassemble, clean, polish, and reassemble a bow! This includes tying horsehair knots, determining the right length of hair, and how to cut tip, frog, and ferrule plugs. Trust us, it’s way harder than it sounds!
